Announcing two major pilots and a new fundraise
Safe Rate's AI mortgage shopping agent helps users evaluate the competitive of a loan offer

Safe Rate's embeddable, AI mortgage shopping agent that was launched last month to help consumers find the lowest cost mortgage loan in one minute has just landed us two (2) major pilots with respected, industry leaders in the mortgage and first-time homebuyer communities. These partners are

  • A top 3, national mortgage lender, that wants to activate website visitors and distribute their mortgage pricing to shoppers who are using our embeddable chat on partner websites
  • A rental rewards community, consisting of 4 million+ renters, that wants to help first-time homebuyers analyze, compare, and shop for mortgage offers with low cost lenders and brokers who are difficult to discover

Additionally, Google is highlighting us for our novel use of our their foundational LLM text and document models, Gemini, in the regulatory sensitive setting of mortgage shopping. Their interview with one of our founders, Shima Rayej, was filmed at Money 20/20, and will be released in December for their Google Cloud marketing campaign, "AI is changing the way..."

With this traction in hand, we are now raising a pre-seed round so that we can execute on these pilots and continue to grow our partnerships with mortgage lenders, real estate brokerages and more online communities that want to embed our mortgage agent. We have budgeted for $1.2 million at a $12 million post-money valuation, which are coincidentally the median terms for a software pre-seed round according to Carta's fall 2024 analysis.

Our goal is simple: that anyone that shops for a mortgage loan starts by using Safe Rate's technology, and that will lead to billions of dollars of money and millions of hours of time saved for consumers.
